I have recently completed a degree in Applied Arts specialising in jewellery at the University of Hertfordshire. My work is  inspired by memories of my childhood. Growing up in the countryside gave me a love of nature, whilst hours spent sifting through my grandmother's sewing box sorting buttons and looking for treasure began a magpie obsession for collecting and sorting that has continued into my adult life.

My jewellery is intended to be playful and light-hearted, I work in a mixture of oxidised and polished sterling silver and hand cast resin. I have recently been exploring different ways to add colour and pattern to resin, as well as using it to add colour to silver pieces through resin inlay.

My current ‘Memory Box’ series is divided into four collections, each based on a memory from my childhood. The collections are made up of a number of fixed pieces of jewellery as well as one made up of interchangeable sections. These interchangeable pieces are grouped to form my own memory but may be swapped between collections to create a new piece, allowing the wearer to continue my story and make it their own.
